DEMISE OF JANE KARUGA

To our Friends;
It is with the greatest of sadness for the Green Belt Movement (GBM) fraternity, to announce the heartbreaking news of the passing on of our colleague and friend, Jane Wairimu Karuga. On behalf of all of us the staff of the Green Belt Movement (GBM). We take the liberty of sending out to our most heartfelt condolences and sympathy.
Jane will be deeply missed here, leaving behind now only those fond memories we have of her. She always had a smile for everyone and was highly regarded by everyone who ever had the opportunity to meet her.
This is truly a great loss to our organisation and to our community as a whole. She will be profoundly missed by everyone whose lives she touched. Nevertheless, by her own last wishes, let us remember Jane each time, with a smile upon our faces.
Farewell Thee Well Jane!
May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
May the rains fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
We will miss you very much
But as our dear friend
You live further in our hearts
As a fountain of friendship
You were special even more so seeing that you were chosen.
We bless the hours we had with you, and leave the rest with God.
May the Lord hold you in the palm of His hand.
