Professor Florence of Brooklyn College will discuss the life and legacy of the 2004 Nobel Peace Laureate Wangari Maathai with Dr. Josephine Ojiambo, formerly the assistant ambassador of Kenya to the United Nations, and Mia MacDonald, chair of the Green Belt Movement-North America. 

We look forward to seeing all of you there to celebrate the legacy of this remarkable African, woman, and environmentalist.
