Training on Natural Resource Management, Clean Energy and Leadership

The Green Belt Movement (GBM) in partnership with Newcourse through the support of Mac Arthur Foundation is undertaking Community Trainers of trainees (TOTs) at the Langata Training Center. The Trainers will be trained on natural resources management, clean energy and leadership. 

The goal of this project is to build the capacity of the rural poor (especially women) to manage natural resources and expand incentives to conserve natural resources in three watersheds in the great lakes region: the Mount Elgon Watershed – Uganda; the Mau Complex and Western Aberdares, and; the Cherangani water tower.

The Green Belt Movement has started the training in Mau complex.
