GBM in partnership with AFD is working to restore the degraded areas of the Mau forest ecosystem and better its functions – in particular, water and biodiversity. The project targets Mau Complex, a critical ecosystem whose waters feed into Lake Victoria and the Nile River. This is well-aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 13 and SDG 15 of the UN 2030 agenda for sustainable development and the AFD country strategy for Kenya 2020-2025.

In this regard, Green Belt Movement invites Expressions of Interest for consulting services for the DEVELOPMENT OF THE GREEN BELT MOVEMENT LIVELIHOOD AND ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT STRATEGY AND GENDER ACTION PLAN. Interested persons to apply through by 7th December 2023
