Over 2,000 volunteers have registered with NYC based tree planting organisation MillionTrees, to help plant 20,000 trees in parks across New York City this Saturday (27^th Oct) and Sunday (28^th Oct)! The seven planting sites are spread across NYC and have now all reached capacity for volunteers so registration for the event is now closed. However you can register for other MillionTrees tree planting activities here.

MillionTrees has the goal to plant and care for one million new trees across New York City's five boroughs over the next decade. By planting one million trees the City can increase its urban forest by an astounding 20%!
