The Green Belt Movement during a stakeholders meeting with the County Ministry of Environment, Water and Natural Resources, Kenya Forest Service, Tree nurseries and CFA representatives at the County Government Offices- Bomet.

The aims of the consultative meeting was to deliberate on issues surrounding the upcoming April rains tree planting season for purposes of a joint planning. All the stakeholders brainstormed on the very objective of rehabilitating the Chepalungu forest spearheaded by Green Belt Movement.

GBM will introduce other GBM programmes and integrate them alongside the existing project to assist the community rehabilitate the remaining parts of Chepalungu forest.
